4Men Plan Goodbye Concert As Member Kim Won Joo Prepares To Enter Military

4Men will be holding a so-called goodbye concert in late August ahead of the approaching military enlistment of member Kim Won Joo and the duo's hiatus, reports The Korea Herald.

The 28-year-old Kim Won Joo will be enlisting in September.

But before the singer leaves for military duty, the 4Men duo will be performing in a two-day goodbye concert scheduled for August 29 and 30.

4Men's agency Vibe Entertainment said on June 24 that the goodbye concert will be a venue for fans to spend time wth Kim Won Joo for a final time before he leaves for his two-year military service.

"As 4Men will temporarily cease activities, this concert will be an occasion for them to reminisce on the past, enjoy the present and promise the future."

Tickets for the goodbye concert will be sold starting June 26 on the Interpark and Hanatour websites.

4Men made a comeback in May as a duo in May 2014 with a fifth album after member Kim Young Jae left the group in March that year, according to Soompi.

The 4Men duo then held their first concert in June 2014, after which member Kim Won Joo tried his hand as a musical singer in October that year in the titular role in the Korean production of "Onjo."
