‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ Release Date Locked In For 2016; Naughty Dog Expect Fans To Be Happy With The Last Installation Of The Franchise?

With Naughty Dog claiming they have all their focus on the release date of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," fans are now locked in, as they wait for the upcoming PlayStation exclusive title.

In a report by Game Spot, it was revealed by lead designer of the game Kurt Margenau that game directors Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley have big plans for the Nathan Drake storyline, as they prepare to bring the game to a whole new level after delaying it for a year.

"[Druckmann and Straley], our directors, they have a vision [for Uncharted 4]," lead designer Kurt Margenau revealed in an interview. "We are fulfilling that vision and it's going to be awesome. It's Nathan Drake's final chapter, so I think fans are going to be happy."

In line with this, they also revealed that the fourth installation of the game would be the last for Nathan Drake. Could this mean this would also be the last game of the "Uncharted" series?

"The first three games were the set-up, and if we were to do one more, how would we top it all off," he asked. "How would we bring Nathan Drake's journey to a close? Everything we're doing [with Uncharted 4] is constructed towards that; Bringing closure to a very long journey."

Furthermore, it was revealed in a Dual Shockers report that community strategists for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" Eric Monacelli revealed how hard the developers are working on the game. He revealed that in line with the release date of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," people who have worked on "The Last Of Us" and "Uncharted 3" are also working on the upcoming release, to ensure the quality of the title.

"Our team is just full of evil geniuses and wizards and they're just really good programmers," Monacelli explained. "With a lot of dev teams - I worked in a few different places - it's the same sort of feel, but Naughty Dog has this sort of special magic that whenever we go into crunch it's just like, we all come together and we want the absolute best of everything. And it just somehow comes out and shines through, it's just incredible."

Release date of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is expected in March 2016.
