Lindsay Lohan News: 'Mean Girls' Actress Talks About Cryotherapy; Shares How She Recovered From Chikungunya Virus

Lindsay Lohan news reported how the "Mean Girls" actress talked about cryotherapy. According to a report from Times Live, the former Disney star shared how she recovered from chikungunya virus.

Lindsay Lohan made news last holiday season when she got the rare, untreatable disease from a mosquito bite in Bora Bora. She cited that she recovered because of cryotherapy, and even recently posted photos of her from the -230°F chamber after her cryotherapy treatment.

''I've started doing cryotherapy after I got the chikungunya virus," Lindsay Lohan shared.

"It's amazing. The virus I had attacks your joints and cryotherapy really helps.''

Lindsay Lohan also told news publications how her cryotherapy helped her while she was finishing community service.

''When I was doing community service in New York, from 8am to 8.30pm, I was having it once a day," she said.

''It helps you sleep better and affects your functioning too. I like to be active all day, I love to cycle and walk.''

Lindsay Lohan's health scare reportedly caused her to delay completion of her court-ordered community service. However, she was still able to complete her required 125 hours of serving in day care centers and a women's shelter.

"I don't think anyone thought I would finish it, that's why I'm happy," Lindsay Lohan, reported by Mirror UK.

Us Weekly reported that how Lindsay Lohan celebrated the completion of her court-ordered community service.

"Hard work pays off. Thanks you to all those that allowed me to volunteer while in NYC. God bless you all. Amen," Lindsay Lohan wrote.

"(Lindsay) Lohan is no different than any other volunteer," the Duffield Children's Center told Page Six in an official statement.

Lindsay Lohan's community service order stemmed from a 2012 reckless driving case. Since then, the redhead celebrity is reportedly eager to change her crazy ways and revive her acting career.
