New HTC One M9 Update Coming For The Phone; Android 5.1 Upgrade For Sprint Users Only

A new improvement update for the newly released HTC One M9 is about to roll out in a few days, but would only be available for Sprint users.

In a report by Droid Life, it was pointed out by HTC's Mo Versi in a tweet that a new update for the phone should come out on July 1, which would definitely include improvements on the camera.

According to Uber Gizmo, detailed improvements on the camera should include "more balanced auto exposure, reduced noise, and better performance in extreme lighting conditions."

Furthermore, GSM Arena listed the specs and features of the HTC One M9 before Sprint rolls out their update.

The HTC One M9 is packed in a 5-inch super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen that could provide 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution. It is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and is designed with the HTC Sense UI 7.0.

Its under the hood specs include an Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 chipset, a powerful quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and quad-core 2 GHz Cortex-A57 CPU and an Adreno 430 GPU.

With the update of the HTC One M9 coming for Sprint users, other users on other carriers have to wait for their update.
