The rumored plot for the upcoming film "TMNT 2" has been making the rounds on the internet, after new set photos were released.

Previously, photos were also released showing new costume designs, particularly for Shredder's character. Brand new characters were also revealed in the previously released photos.

Now, according to Screenrant, the latest set of images released shows that the "TMNT 2" plot might actually touch into the topic of time travelling. 

Megan Fox's character, April O'Neil was seen sneaking into a facility. The photo showed Fox's character wearing an ID tag that read Renet Tilley under the name. According to the source cited above, Renet is a character from the original comic book who is described as someone who uses time-travelling.

After the photo was released, fans assumed that the upcoming film will be touching on the topic of moving through time. Although unconfirmed, they are convinced that this will be the case. 

Aside from Fox's character, set photos of Bebop, played by Gary Anthony Williams and Rocksteady played by Sheamus from WWE, have also been released via the TMNT official site. It shows their characters riding their own motorcycles. Their rides are described as contrasting from each other, with Bebop's looking more flashy with spikes and Rocksteady being more subdued and alot more simple. Their wardrobe also reflects the same descriptions as their vehicles.

As to whether the "TMNT 2" plot will feature Bebop and Rocksteady being mutated, we have yet to find out, but according to the first source cited above, their characters will probably be quite big, like the turtles portrayed in the first film.
