SISTAR Fans In China Go Viral With Dance Cover Of Group's New Single 'Shake It'

A dance cover video of SISTAR's "Shake It" was posted on the Chinese social network Sina.com on June 30 and has since gone viral.

In the video, roughtly two dozen girls wearing blue skirts, white shirts, and big hats dance in unison to SISTAR's latest single, "Shake It," on a basketball court.

The video, and the girls dancing, have earned praise from online commenters around both China and South Korea, a nod to SISTAR's increasing popularity overseas.

The original video was later shared on the Moncast 'Women's Video' Facebook page where it was viewed 35,000 times in just 13 hours.

The popularity of the video didn't go unnoticed by the members of SISTAR, either. The group even shared the popular dance cover through their official Facebook page.

"Shake It" is a retro dance track with addicting chorus, powerful vocals, and upbeat melodies. Its choreography is easy to follow and the humorous scenes in the music video appeal to viewers of all ages. Celebrities such as Kang Kyun Sung, Shownu, Wonho, and chef Choi Hyun Seok also appear in the music video.

SISTAR released "Shake It" and their EP of the same name on June 22.
