"The Good Wife" is currently on hiatus before season 7 begins, but spoilers have surfaced that could indicate the arrival of several new cast members.

As previously reported, British actress Cush Jumbo will have a recurring role on "The Good Wife" season 7, and while showrunner Robert and Michelle King insist she's no replacement for Kalinda as an investigator, the law firm will be seeing new faces nonetheless.

According to spoilers by TVLine, "The Good Wife" season 7 premiere, titled "Grunts," will feature a new associate at Lockhart Agos Lee who "intends to make his presence felt."

But it's not only new faces that could be joining "The Good Wife" season 7. While it's not necessarily spoilers, actress Carrie Preston has voiced her desire to return to the show, potentially as a series regular.

"If it were up to me, I'd be there every episode," said Preston on Twitter.

"If they bring me back, I don't know how they'll top penguins in my head, treadmill desks and I making out in my office, but I'm sure they'll find a way!"

Last season, Preston returned for two episodes as the fan-favorite Elsbeth Tascioni. Now that the actress is no longer committed to "True Blood," the chances of her coming to "The Good Wife" is far stronger.

Last year, rumors ignited on discussions of a spin-off series from "The Good Wife" featuring Tascioni.

"We've discussed it internally," said co-creator Robert King. "It always comes down to where you can put your energy. Our worry is that-we're not the kind of showrunners, unfortunately, who can take our eyes off this and do two things at once. I wish we could because there's no one more fun to work with and better comedian than Carrie Preston. There's such a cool show there."
