Josh Hartnett and Tamsin Egerton are having a baby.

The actor's representative has confirmed his and his girlfriend good news to Page Six after it surfaced.

"It's true and they are beyond thrilled," the "Penny Dreadful" actor's representative said.

Hartnett's representative confirmed the baby news as well to Just Jared. It was not mentioned when the baby will be born.

In a recent interview, Hartnett has expressed his desire to become a father. He was already dating Egerton at that time.

"I have to get a car that's safe for my kid," he said as quoted by Yahoo! Australia. "I don't have a kid yet, but that's the idea coming into my head these days."

According to Mail Online, Josh Harnett and Tamsin Egerton have been dating for about for four years now. They met on the set of their film "The Lovers" in 2011 but hooked up much later.

""It was just a natural thing that happened," an Us Weekly source said when the couple was sighted in Ireland back in 2013.

"He said she was really nice. She took him around London, though he's not unfamiliar with it himself," the source added.

The English actress was not the first woman the "Black Hawk Down" actor met on set and dated.

He reportedly also dated co-stars like Amanda Seyfried, Scarlett Johansson, Julia Stiles and Kirsten Dunst.

In an interview with Playboy in April, Harnett said he doesn't regret meeting his flames on set.

"I think it's a respectable way of going about it," he told Playboy. "I've met very important people in my life doing films. Sometimes that had consequences that were just awful for everybody involved. Some were fantastic all the way through."

"Everybody makes mistakes dating people they work with," he added.

"They're whom I'm attracted to because I share experiences with them and understand a bit about what they are and what they do," Josh Hartnett who also met his girlfriend Tamsin Egerton on set said about dating co-stars.
