One Direction Star Zayn Malik and his 19-year-old girlfriend Perrie Edwards, formerly of the band Little Mix are planning a romantic getaway in June to the South of France.

"They're going to take a week out and go to St Tropez in the South of France," a source told Heat magazine. "Zayn's record company have offered them a boat and Perrie's shifted her work commitments around it. They both decided that they needed some quality time away from everyone."

Zayn and Perrie have walked a rocky road in their relationship lately. Professional obligations have driven the couple apart, and the One Direction singer was allegedly accused of cheating.

Cover Media reports that Malik has promised Edwards that he will stop the late night partying and as a result hasn't been seen hitting the night circuit for the last several weeks.

When One Direction gets a 10-day break in June Zayne promised to spend some quality time with Perrie.

"Zayn organized the whole thing by himself as a way of making things up to her, and it seems to have worked," the same source said. "She's thrilled and things seem to be really good between them."

Yet a different source told Star on Monday that Edwards is really worried about the couple being so far apart for so long.

"Perrie's feeling like it's an impossible amount of time for them to be apart," the source said. "She is only just learning to trust Zayn again after recent events, and of course, she is worried about what will happen while Zayn is away."

Let's hope they can make it to June.
