Blake Lively Claims Baby James Made Her More Responsible; Blonde Beauty Thinks ‘Gossip Girl’ Didn’t Put Up Good Example For Youngsters

Blake Lively's baby James certainly has a positive effect on the 27-year-old's life. Now that she is already a mother, Ryan Reynolds' wife feels that CW's "Gossip Girl" doesn't really set a good example for teenagers.

"Gossip Girl," which aired from 2007 to 2012, revolved around the privilege teenagers of Manhattan's Upper East Side. Blake Lively plated the role of Serena van der Woodsen on the famed television drama.

Ryan Reynolds's wife explained to Female First why she thinks the show compromised her values.

"People loved it, but it always felt a little personally compromising - you want to be putting a better message out there...I loved it when they put Blair and Serena as best friends supporting each other."

"When parents would say, 'My teenager is watching your show', I wanted to say, 'Hold on. Why? Are you having a talk with them after?' From the drug use to the point where we're killing people, it's sexual and salacious," she added.

Following the birth of Blake Lively's baby James, the "Age of Adaline" actress has focused on being a mom as well as being an owner of the lifestyle website, Preserve.

In another interview with Contactmusic, the "Sisterhood of Travelling Pants" star admitted that she'd teach her daughter how to cook. Nonetheless, she'd remain supportive of her daughter's interests whatever they are.

"I would love for her to want to cook with me. I'd love for her to want to bake with me but if she just wants to, like, you know, play with GI Joes and race cars, then I'm fine with that too. Whatever she wants, I'm happy about", she gushed.

She also revealed her source of inspiration.

"My mom was the one who inspired me. She's an amazing cook. She could see a dress and know how to sew it together".
