Confirmed: The Corrs Reunion 2015! New Album Also Currently In The Works!

The Corrs reunion for 2015 has been long-awaited by fans and now, it seems that it is finally pushing through.

According to a report by RTE, the band is confirmed to be making a comeback this year. Particularly at the BBC Radio 2 Live event at Hype Park. The event is set to happen on Sept. 13.

When the news initially got released, fans assumed that the reunion will only be a performance, much like S Club 7's during aother BBC event. However, it seems that the reunion is a full-blown one, as a new album has also been confirmed to be in the works.

The album following the Corrs reunion 2015 has been confirmed by one of the members herself, Andrea Corr. She recently spoke with Chris Evans during his BBC radio 2 show and revealed that a new album is currently in the works.

"We're in the process of making a new record, so it feels just right to do this," she said, as quoted by the source cited above. "It's exciting."

"We emerged after our lives going in different directions - babies and all that," Andrea further continued.

After the reports got published, fans have been breathing a sigh of relief as to them, the album certainly cements the reunion to be something that might actually last for a long time, and not just something that is marketed to be such but will then deteriorate after one performance and some photo shoots.

Fans have been raving about it on comments section and threads online.

"The corrs are the biggest best band ever, think of the great hits they have had, such melody, great song writing, fantastic instrumentally," a certain fan named Brian wrote in the comments section of RTE.

"I can't wait," he added. "They will be headlining croke park. Jim rocking the place, what a legend. The girls have style and grace and sing like angels. This is the best news any pop fan can dream of."

As to the details of the album cementing The Corrs reunion 2015, they have yet to release any information about it.
