Jeff Goldblum may have just had the best Independence Day with the birth of his baby boy.

According to a report on Just Jared, the actor's wife Emilie Livingston gave birth to the new bundle of joy exactly on July 4.

"We're so excited to share the wonderful news of the birth of our son, Charlie Ocean Goldblum, born on the 4th of July," the "Independence Day: Resurgence" actor said on Facebook as quoted by Just Jared.

The post was attached with the first family photo of the Goldblums with little Charlie all bundled up.

Commenters on the picture all had well wishes for the family as well as Charlie, the Fourth of July baby.

"Independence Day: Resurgence" director Roland Emmerich took to Twitter to send his congratulations to the couple.

"My eyes suddenly and inexplicably are wet and I have beads rolling down my cheeks!" he posted.

"Congratulations Jeff & @emchka!" he added.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the couple were very aware that their baby boy was coming during the Fourth of July weekend as the actor shared during a guesting on "The Late Late Show With James Corden" back in April. 

The name of Jeff Goldblum's baby boy was slightly changed since he first announced how his wife told him of the pregnancy back in January.

"She told me the day before we got married that she's pregnant" he told David Letterman on "The Late Show" back then as quoted by Entertainment Tonight.

"This is our current thinking, Elliot Charlie, Elliot Charlie Goldblum," he added.

The pregnancy was well-documented as well in Livington's Instagram account as reported by Us Weekly.

"Bursting! It's so hot out and the pain is real but I'm keeping my focus and patiently waiting," the former Olympic gymnast said in a post on June 24 before she gave birth to her and Jeff Goldblum's baby boy.
