Katie Hopkins and Caitlyn Jenner have been making the headlines of news reports lately.

This is after Katie published a tweet dissing Caitlyn. The post came after a new photo of Caitlyn got released online to promote Caitlyn's upcoming docu-series, "I Am Cait."

"Caitlyn, get over yourself bird. Do something," Hopkins' tweet wrote. "Say something. Be something. Women are more than dresses & photoshoots." 

It was then quickly picked up by numerous entertainment sites including Mirror. In the article, it was stated that Hopkins is known to release controversial opinions about sensitive issues and trending topics. 

While Caitlyn Jenner herself has yet to comment about the issue, numerous fans have come to her defense, attacking Hopkins in their responses.

One user replied to Katie multiple times via Twitter.

"You could parade the internet waving a giant 'Golf Sale' sign for Murdoch while failing at everything you attempt," user @SiSpencer tweeted. "You could suffer from cognitive dissonance and spend your life attacking anyone more successful than you."

It can also be recalled that Katie Hopkins previously called herself a "Gay Icon," comparing herself to a real gay icon, Kylie Minogue. Like the Caitlyn Jenner rant, she also announced this via her Twitter account.

"My ambition to be a taller, uglier Kylie is realised," she tweeted. "A gay icon in tan tights & reinforced gusset. Come on boys."  

Caitlyn Jenner has been making the headlines ever since she came out to public about her true gender. Her debut was made public via a photoshoot in Vogue magazine, revealing her new look as a woman with newly implanted breasts and long hair.
