Bobbi Kristina Brown's family, led by her father, Bobby Brown, hit Nick Gordon with a $10 million civil lawsuit after an investigation found reasonable doubt of Nick Gordon's innocence, according to the Us Weekly. The lawsuit claims Bobbi Kristina Brown was physically abused by her boyfriend, and suffered injuries that were "life-threatening" while they were together.

According to the publication, the Houston-Brown family suspects foul play of Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition - currently in a hospice, the young daughter of famed Whitney Houston was facedown in her bathtub six months ago. Her condition is deteriorating and tragically many speculate she will not survive her traumatic brain injuries.

"Filing a civil case is a way to keep the pressure on the authorities to file criminal charges," Atlanta attorney John F. Wymer said of the Houston-Brown's growing case against Nick Gordon. Whymer is not employed by the family.

The lawsuit describes a disturbing relationship between Nick and Bobbi, fraught with emotional and physical abuse.

It claims Bobbi Kristina "suffered life-­threatening bodily harm" from Gordon's hand detailing domestic violence, including him "punching her in the face, knocking out a front tooth and dragging her upstairs by her hair."

A neighbor in their Roswell, Georgia, community reported a domestic disturbance at their townhouse one week prior to Bobbi Kristina's hospitalization.

"The abuse had gone on for years," the source allegedly said.

Bobbi Kristina Brown's family describes her engaging in a loud argument with Gordon just hours before she was found, "with her mouth swollen and an­other tooth knocked out."

As court-appointed conservator Bedelia C. Hargrove put it, "Brown suffered extreme, visible, life-­altering bodily harm as a result of (Gordon's) outrageous, unwanted harmful and offensive contact."

A source told the publication: "The DA is waiting until Bobbi ­passes so he can hit Nick with felony murder. He's ­going for the jugular."
