Michael Schumacher's Wife Corinna Takes Legal Action Over Race Champion's Coma Condition Speculation; Court Rules Against Tabloids

Corrina Schumacher brought her grievances to the Munich court over the wild speculations by the tabloids regarding husband Michael Schumacher's condition while in coma.

According to the report from The Telegraph, Corrina could no longer take the false reports by the tabloids on Michael Schumacher, which include that he already has regained his ability to speak.

The tabloids were identified as Bunte, Freizeit Revue and Freizeit Spaß.

Corrina also scored a major victory when the local court imposed a ban on any unofficial report on Michael Schumacher's coma condition.

"The court's chamber dealing with press law considered the contested forms of coverage as being inadmissible in essential respects and banned them," the article said.

"Ruling against the magazines, the court found that the coverage had 'removed his privacy and was the subject of speculative hope and voyeuristic observation,' the Süddeutsche Zeitung reported."

According to the Telegraph, Bunte reported that Michael Schumacher has been slipping in and out of coma as his condition has improved given he already opened his eyes and "feels again Corrina's love."

The Freizeit Revue, for its part, reported that Michael Schumacher can "apparently already speak in a fragmented way."

The lawsuit came on the heels of the report that fans are still pining for the F1 champ's recovery following Michael Schumacher's coma condition. In fact, the #KeepFightingMichael continues to be used on Twitter about a year after he came out of coma following the skiing accident in 2013.

The Metro magazine claimed that the family has been spending £100,000 a week to pay for his medical expenses in light of Michael Schumacher's condition, as the best doctors and nurses attend to the F1 champion's needs 24/7.

The family has been on lockdown with regards to news regarding Michael Schumacher's coma condition after a journalist attempted to gain access to the F1 champ by posing as a priest.

Spokesperson Sabine Kehm told a German newspaper that "a journalist disguised as a priest has tried to get access to Michael's room."

"This is something I would not have thought possible. As soon as his disguise was recognised, he expelled from the hospital."
