'Five Nights at Freddy's 4' Teaser Trailer Suggests Identity Of Purple Guy Will Soon Be Revealed [VIDEO]

After months of anticipation, the first "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" trailer has been revealed.

And I for one have no intention of dealing with the nightmare animatronics in this new environment.

There's plenty to analyze in the new "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" teaser trailer, but the guys at 8-Bit Gaming have thankfully done all the analyzing for you (alongside famous youtuber Smike). They managed to find 10 noteworthy things you may have missed. The most important thing however, is arguably the idea that in this final installment, fans will finally get to know who the purple guy is.

"During a particular shot in the trailer where we are located within what we presume to be the bedroom, we see various toys being illuminated by the light source of the character. What makes this sequence startling, is what each of the toys are," said Ryan from 8-Bit Gaming.

The toys in question are a purple fan, a purple robot figurine with a yellow badge (reminiscent of Purple Guy in Five Nights at Freddy's 2), and a phone. With all these objects, it appears there will definitely be some focus on explaining the origins of both the Purple Guy, and the Phone Guy.

Or, as Matthew Patrick of The Game Theorists originally explained, we may finally realize that the Purple Guy and the Phone Guy are the same person.

In the very least, the new trailer for "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" does appear to confirm that players will be forced to deal with the deadly animatronics in a house setting. Add in the brightened image of the latest teaser on creator Scott Cawthon's official website, and it's likely they'll be forced to monitor several entrances at once in order to stay safe.

"Five Nights at Freddy's 4" is currently scheduled to be released on Oct. 31. Fans can check out the new trailer below.
