The Rock's Finger Injury: Fake Or Real? 'Furious 7' Star Reveals The Truth!

The Rock's finger injury has become viral since it first got out on the internet.

Fans quickly showed support after the "Furious 7" star uploaded a video of him bearing a broken finger. While it seemed real, numerous reports claimed that it was apparently otherwise. As reported by The Daily Mail, the broken finger was just a prosthetic, done for his latest film with Kevin Hart titled "Central Intelligence."

"Alright, just stepped off set," The Rock said in the video he uploaded. He then said that the director asked him if he was bleeding. "I said bleed?" he answered. "I got time to bleed." after which he held up his hand that bore a twisted finger, one that sent the viewers grossed out.

TMZ first reported about The Rock's finger injury, initially claiming it was a legitimate one. The site, however, updated the article with a claim that it was apparently fake, according to a rep from the movie.

According to the fans, the fake injury seemed so real that they were imagining it to be something that is worse than Jimmy Fallon's reported finger injury.

As previously reported, the talk show host slash comedian recently revealed how he got his injury, blaming "ring avulsion" to be the cause. He talked about how he underwent microsurgery to have it fixed.

"Apparently, the odds aren't great and usually they cut your finger off, but this guy did microsurgery for over six hours and had to take a vein out of my foot," Jimmy Fallon said in his show. "This is the craziest story - I was knocked out and didn't know any of this."

While The Rock's finger injury was proven to be fake after all, fans still couldn't get over how intense it must have been if it were otherwise. Moreso, the anticipation for his upcoming film with Kevin Hart, "Central Intelligence," has grown bigger after the news came out. The movie is set to be released on June 17, 2016.
