John Travolta gay rumors have resurfaced, fuelled by the actor's alleged recent secret date. According to a report from Radar Online, the "Pulp Fiction" star is back on the hot seat again after he was spotted in Palm Springs with a male companion.

The 61-year-old movie star reportedly had a low-key lunch date with an unidentified man last July12 at Melvyn's restaurant at the Ingleside Inn in Palm Springs.

"They were driving one incredibly great Mercedes!" an employee from the restaurant shared.

"They had the room all to themselves, which I think they enjoyed."

However, the restaurant employee pointed out that the lunch outing might not be related to the John Travolta gay accusations that have been circulating for years.

"No, I think he was just a pal," the source said. "I tried to twist their arm to get them to hang around a little bit for our Sunday jazz jam session, but I think they had another agenda."

The Hollywood Gossip previously reported about a tell-all book that will detail John Travolta's gay affair with his alleged ex-lover, Doug Gotterba. The actor's former pilot claims that they were in an intimate relationship for six years until the matinee idol married actress Kelly Preston in 1991.

A recent update about the John Travolta gay expose was reported by Radar Online, detailing how Doug Gotterba accused the actor of forging his signature on a confidentiality agreement. The said document was supposedly signed in 1987 to prevent Doug Gotterba from speaking about his former employer.

"[The signed confidentiality agreement] is not legitimate, because [I] never would have signed [my] name with the date out of place," said John Travlota's alleged gay lover.

"[It is] impossible to determine whether [the contract with the confidentiality clause] is authentic, because Gotterba's signature could have been cut and pasted from another document," legal documents explained.

John Travolta and his alleged gay lover will go on trial on Aug. 7. However, the actor explained to Daily Beast that he is aware of what Doug Gotterba is after.

"It's just about people wanting money," he said. "That's all. It happens on many levels."
