Leighton Meester might probably follow on the footsteps of fellow "Gossip Girl" alum Blake Lively and welcome her baby very soon. In a rare sighting, Meester was seen out in Los Angeles recently with an already very big belly.

In a report on E! Online, it was mentioned that the 29-year-old actress looked ready-to-pop anytime soon as she was clad in a tight-fitting white top and striped pants. She even smiled to the paparazzi who were taking advantage of her rare public appearance.

The actress appeared to be out for lunch with a friend.

Meester, who was expecting her first child with husband Adam Brody, has been very private about her life since getting married. According to Us Magazine, the couple has yet to confirm the pregnancy even though it was already very obvious.

News of Meester's pregnancy first surfaced back in May when she was sighted with an already growing belly in Los Angeles.

In exclusive pictures snapped up by Pop Sugar back then, Leighton Meester also smiled at photographers when she was sighted with the baby bump.

Back then, no detail of the pregnancy has been revealed. Meester and Brody have been both very private about their dating and married life. They even got married in a super-secret ceremony back in February 2014.

In an exclusive toofab video though, the actor reportedly confirmed the marriage days later when asked by one photographer. The video was now unavailable.

No matter how private Meester and Brody were, the singer-actress has once admitted that she's more focused now on her family more than her career.

"My values have shifted greatly in terms of what I find important," she told In Style UK in its November 2014 issue.

"It's my family, my friends and having a personal life," she added. "Those are the things that need nurturing."
