Limp Bizkit New Album To Be Released This Year? See What Caused The Delays For The Group

Following all the delays the new Limp Bizkit album had been through, it is starting to look like that their follow up to the 2011 effort, "Gold Cobra" would still have to wait for the right time to come.

In a previous report by Team Rock, Limp guitarist Wes Borland revealed how their recording has progressed, even claiming that they have songs good for at least two albums, which they are laying down tracks for.

"Fred [Durst] has been working on vocals in his home studio nonstop for months and months," Borland said about the much anticipated Limp Bizkit new album. "He's told me that he's almost finished, but I don't know what amount of the 28 songs has been finished. I know that he re-records and trashes vocals all the time."

"I don't know, I think he's in a mode where he's liking something that he's doing and not liking other stuff. But I think he's just now starting to feel a lot more confident in what he's putting in the songs."

Recording is starting to look like a struggle for the rock group, yet they are still expected to be on the right track and that they would finish the recording and finishing touches soon.

Furthermore, Borland also explained how the group has been through major and minor changes, which has also been causing the delay of the release. This includes the departure of original member DJ Lethal from the band.

"To be blatantly honest about it, the new album has gone through so many different alterations and so many different session," the Limp Bizkit guitarist said. "I mean, we've gone into five different studios now. I think we're up to 28 songs, or maybe even more. And those are completed songs."

Despite all the delays regarding the release date of the new Limp Bizkit album, fans are still hopeful for the band to release the much-anticipated record in the months to come.
