Caitlyn Jenner has served as an inspiration for many for her courageous move to share her transition story including trans teen Jazz Jennings.

In a report on TMZ, Jennings expressed how she hoped to meet Jenner once she scored an invite to the 2015 ESPYs.

"I am hoping to meet her tonight but I know she will be escorted by a trillion people-but I hope!" she said on Wednesday to E! Online.

"If I can meet her one day, that would be great!" she added.

It was not reported though if the two did get the chance to meet during the event. But after hearing Jenner's speech, Jennings sent her some love over Twitter.

"I love you all!" she wrote. "And I had a great time at the ESPYS! @Caitlyn_Jenner is so inspiring! I cried!"

Jennings, whose reality show "I am Jazz" just aired on TLC, has in the past been very open about how she looks up to Jenner.

"She has made such a difference in our world and she really opened up people's minds and visibility just by being her authentic self and living her life true to who she is," Jennings explained to E! Online.

"It's just incredible and I am just so proud of her," she added.

As reported by People, Jazz Jennings even calls Caitlyn Jenner her "hero."

"For me, Caitlyn Jenner is such a huge role model," she said.

According to a report on Mirror, Jennings started her transition at a young age of three. Jenner began her transition publicly just recently but was fully aware of the need for acceptance in the society for all transgender especially the young ones. She pointed this out when she her got Arthur Ashe Award for Courage at the ESPYs.

"All across this country, right now, all across the world, at this very moment, there are young people coming to terms with being transgender," Jenner said as quoted by Time.

"If you want to call me names, make jokes, doubt my intentions, go ahead, because the reality is, I can take it," she added.

"But for the thousands of kids out there coming to terms with being true to who they are, they shouldn't have to take it," Caitlyn Jenner also said about what young trans like Jazz Jennings should not go through.
