Prince William and Kate Middleton are fulfilling their parental duties as they prepare for Prince George's 2nd birthday on July 22. The royal couple is reportedly planning something grand for their eldest.

"They will be making a big fuss of George at his birthday party, which is expected to be at Anmer Hall," claimed an insider to Closer magazine.

In line with his birthday, Prince George has been honored with a limited edition commemorative coin, which was produced by England's Royal Mint. It features both images of Christian martyr Saint George and Queen Elizabeth II.

Shane Bissett, director of commemorative coin and bullion at the Royal Mint, said.

As reported by E! Online, Shane Bisett, the Royal Mint's Director of Commemorative Coin and Bullion, explained why they have chosen a sterling silver £5 coin.

"The choice of a silver GBP5 coin is significant too as the tradition of crossing the palm of a new born baby with silver is a way to wish them wealth and good health throughout their life."

Surely Prince George's 2^nd birthday is a piece of cake for the Duchess of Cambridge because her family owns the renowned party supplier site, Party Pieces. Grandma Carole Middleton is believed to be the leader of the planning.

Last year, Prince William and Kate Middleton's eldest had a Peter Rabbit party at Kensington Palace.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly doing their best to not make Prince George out of place. According to the same magazine, the young prince feels jealous of her younger sister Princess Charlotte which is a typical reaction for older siblings.

"Both William and Kate have been making really big efforts to spend quality time with him, one-on-one," the insider told the publication.

"They [also] ask George to help them out with lots of tasks around Charlotte, like handing them her nappies and wipes, so he feels involved and important."
