Jaime King became a mother for the second time as she and husband Kyle Newman welcomed into the world their new baby boy last week.

The couple both took to Instagram on Monday to make the big announcement, according to E! Online.

"We are so happy to welcome to the world our new baby boy!" she wrote.

"Born Thursday, July 16th!" she added.

Her husband Newman, also made the big announcement teasing that they'd release the name soon. "He's arrived!" he posted. "So happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world. "Mom & Baby are well," he also said. "Name coming soon."

With birth of Jaime King and Kyle Newman's second baby, singer Taylor Swift has now become a godmother. There is no word yet if the "Bad Blood" singer has seen her new godchild. But in March, she took to social media as well to announce her excitement with an intimate picture.

"Guess who just got named Godmother of this little one..... (ME)," the post said then.

King explained in an interview with Elle at the time that Swift's values were the main reason she chose her as godmother.

"I always knew she was going to be the godmother if I had another baby," King explained to Elle as quoted by Us Magazine.

"We try and choose people who we know would raise our child the way that we would raise our child, and her thoughtfulness, her kindness, her authenticity is so powerful to me," she added. "She's so uninhibited in her giving."

Although King and Newman announced the birth of their second child, they did not show a glimpse of the new baby in the pictures. As for the name, King has explained before that they don't want their baby's name to be "too Hollywood."

"I want my child to feel strong in life and in business and what they do, but it's still romantic at the same time," she explained to People.

"It's not easy, but I like classic and eclectic mixed together so it's a bit of both of my worlds at the same time," Jaime King added about naming her second baby.
