Katy Perry has recently jumped in on the ongoing feud brewing between Taylor Swift and her now former friend, Nicki Minaj.

As known to the public, their feud began when Nicki tweeted a diss directed towards the VMAs after her video was snubbed for the best video award. 

"If I was a different 'kind' of artist, Anaconda would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well," Nicki tweeted via her official Twitter page. Followed up with, "When the 'other' girls drop a video that breaks records and impacts culture they get that nomination." 

"If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year," she added.

Minaj's tweet was seemingly directed towards Taylor, whose "Bad Blood" video got nominated at the VMAs.

"@NICKIMINAJ I've done nothing but love & support you," Taylor responded. "It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot.."

After which Minaj seemed to be surprised as she never mentioned any names in her tweet. "Huh?," she tweeted. "U must not be reading my tweets. Didn't say a word about u. I love u just as much. But u should speak on this. @taylorswift13"

Swift quickly seemed to turn the steering wheel around as she replied to Minaj's response with a tweet that seemed "too much of a damage control," according to fans.

"@NICKIMINAJ If I win, please come up with me!!," she tweeted. "You're invited to any stage I'm ever on."

Since then, majority of the fans have been seeing Taylor Swift's move to be a completely fake one and have been siding with Nicki Minaj. To add to that, a complete turn of events happened as Katy Perry then jumped in on the feud.

"Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman," Perry posted on Twitter, which Minaj quicky retweeted.

After the whole slur of tweets among the three died down a little, majority of the users on the internet took our their own phones and devices to tweet their support to Katy and Nicki's camp. Some are calling Taylor a fake, having really good publicists to change her persona when she is in fact "unreal."
