Miley Cyrus's 2015 MTV VMAs Hosting Gig Protested By Parents; Singer Ignores Petition!

The Parents Television Council (PTC) are voicing out their alarm over Miley Cyrus hosting this year's MTV Awards.

In an exclusive interview with Gossip Cop, PTC officials said they are afraid the show would be too vulgar if Cyrus does host it even citing that the singer dropped the F-bomb when she made the announcement about hosting.

"With Miley's shtick, it's probably going to be very edgy, very profane, very sexually explicit," PTC President Tim Winter said.

"It's not going to be safe for children to watch," he insisted. "So, they must rate it TV-MA."

"As a parent of a teenager, the content from two years ago was clearly not appropriate for a 14-year-old," he explained. "I think last year's was toned down quite a bit. I think that came from advertiser pressure to not have a re-twerk. This year, clearly, they're going to try to ramp it back up again."

The official even claimed that MTV intended for Miley Cyrus to host in order to rake the profit it would reportedly generate.

Winter clarified though that he's not at all against Cyrus as a person.

"I think Miley Cyrus is capable of doing it if she so chose," he pointed out. "She's smart. She's talented. She knows how to turn it up, turn it down if she so chooses."

The "Wrecking Ball" singer seemed unaffected by the newest criticism though.

In a new post on Instagram, Cyrus dropped the F-bomb again about her upcoming hosting gig.

"F**k yeah VMAzzzzz!!!!!" she captioned on a video teasing about her hosting.

There are no details yet about what's to expect during the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. Among the predictions of People though would be Cyrus going on a number of costume changes, massive use of props, speeches about relevant issue and possible involvement of animals. The report also said it might be possible that "tongues will not remain in mouths" with Cyrus hosting.

Miley Cyrus will host the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 30.
