Techies are getting antsy about the possible LG G5 release date.

The existing front-runner, the LG G4, is already a great device that tries to offer users everything it possibly can and more.  The phone is a stunner with its unique and sleek design; it has removable batter, expandable storage, snappy LG UX, and a camera that takes amazing high quality pictures.

Just when consumers were already settled on this amazing phone, LG goes way beyond everybody's expectations and may come out with the LG G5.

While everyone is dying to find out the LG G5 release date, rumors have been going about in the Internet about the possible features that the new flagship phone may have. 

According to Tech Radar, it looks like LG is already in the planning stages for the G5 smartphone.

The first suggestion was that the leather exterior that the G4 sported would be dropped and they would go for a sleek all-metal exterior design. This is definitely an upgrade from the existing smartphones as most of them currently have plastic or leather exteriors.

In terms of the features, the G5 might have a biometric scanner as well as an iris scanner. PC Advisor reported that LG may possibly be working with Irience in order to bring the scanner to their newest phone.

Other features that shouldn't be missed are the Corning Lotus or Sapphire Glass for the possible 6-inch screen. There are reports that the RAM may go up to 6 GB with the Android M or Android 6.0 operating system.

There is no official announcement regarding the LG G5 release date, details, and features. However, the phone may be making its debut in 2016.
