Cross Gene's Takuya Shows Menswear Trends In InStyle

Cross Gene's Takuya participated in a lazy afternoon pictorial for the August issue of InStyle. The idol modeled some of the latest menswear trends, like unique slip-ons and midnight blue jackets, while returning to his modeling roots. His eclectic wardrobe included Gucci fur-trimmed moccasins, Ann Taylor tuxedos, Dior cardigans, and Archimedes gold watches.

During his interview, Takuya was asked about his entertainment career plans after exiting the JTBC program Abnormal Summit. He responded, "I'm dedicated to group activities. We had a concert in Japan and made an album that will be released in August. Also, we went to Brazil for performances."

The star was quick to credit the show for improving his Korean. He joined the original panel as a representative of his birth country Japan.

"I did not know any Korean at all when I arrived in Korea. Then I learned from a teacher after one year of study and from Cross Gene member Shin." He said. "Then, while appearing in Abnormal Summit, I had to speak accordingly about a subject concerning Japan so it took a lot of effort. I suddenly saw my skill improve."

When asked to choose between Korean and Japanese women, the singer cleverly reasoned that since he can communicate in both languages now he could date either. He also asserted that he can coherently speak with American, European and Chinese women as well.

"My heart is always open." He said. "So I hope everyone comes!"

Recently, Cross Gene became the first K-pop group to take the stage at Brazil's Anime Friends Festival.
