Newly Debuted K-Pop Act Monsta X Excite Fans With 1st Stateside Performance At KCON 2015

Friday night Los Angeles' Staples Center rang with the cheers of tens of thousands of exuberant fans as Starship Entertainment's sensational rookie group, Monsta X, took to the stage to open KCON LA's first 'M! Countdown' concert.

Opening with the group's debut hit, "Tresspass," Monsta X wowed the audience with their impressive, high-energy performance. With a single EP to their name, the group performed three songs, each of them showcasing a different side of this diverse group, and each was met with an equal level of enthusiasm from their fans.

Though their set was short, Monsta X did return to the stage later in the evening to deliver a stunning dance performance with JYP Entertainment's own rookie sensation, GOT7. In a battle of the dancers, Monsta X's Shownu faced off against GOT7's maknae, Yugyeom, the duo showed off their impressive skills as dancers, much to the delight of their ecstatic fans.

Having debuted in May of this year, Monsta X admitted they were surprised by the level of love they had received from fans since their arrival in the States. Humbled by the love and support of their fans, the seven boys of Monsta X showed their appreciation by delivering an incredible performance that will long be remembered by those attending KCON 2015 LA.
