Girls' Generation's Debut Track Returns To The Charts As Group Celebrates 8th Anniversary

Girls' Generation's debut single titled "Into The New World" is back on the music charts as the group celebrates their eighth anniversary.

"Into The New World," which was released on August 2, 2007, started the group's amazing journey to fame. Eight years later, and the group is as popular as ever having just dominated music programs and charts throughout July with their latest single "Party."

In celebration of the girl group's anniversary, the hashtag #8YearsWithSNSD was seen trending on Twitter with comments and well wishes pouring in from fans around the world on the social networking site.

Girls' Generation made their debut as a nine member group under SM Entertainment. As of August 6, Jessica Jung has officially left the group and record label after going on hiatus to pursue her fashion design career last year. 

This month, Girls' Generation plans to promote two new summer singles, "Lionheart" and "You Think."
