YG Entertainment Sweeps Up 5 Red Dot Design Awards During Its First Entry In Competition

YG Entertainment (YG) entered the Red Dot design competition for the first time and swept up 5 awards with WINNER's debut album, 2NE1's second album "Crush," Taeyang's second album "Rise," "YG Family Concert in Seoul Live" CD, and YG-Woori Bank collaboration package.

WINNER previously caught the media's attention for being the first group to use a fashion brand's launching concept to their debut album. Such creativity was recognized during the competition and it became Red Dot's first artist debut branding to win an award.

2NE1's "Crush" drew praise with its pink and black designs that well reflected the group's characteristics. "YG Family Concert in Seoul Live" CD also won an award for its design that symbolizes harmony and cooperation of YG artists. Taeyang's "Rise" album was also recognized for its sleek design.

After sweeping up the awards, YG revealed its plan to hire new designers and further advance its design capabilities.
