New Song, New Dance, New Dress? What To Expect From Psy's 'Happening' Concert

Psy's solo concert in Seoul is just a few weeks away and many fans are wondering what is in store for the show.

The 'Happening' concert will be held at Seoul's Olympic Stadium on April 13 in front of 50,000 fans and will also be broadcasted live via YouTube.

What sort of glorious surprises await?

Well, for starters, the highly anticipated debut performance of Psy's new single. Especially with the buzz surrounding the controversial title forcing the singer to make significant changes to the song, many fans around the world are curious what it will sound like and what the theme will be.

Maybe even more exciting to think about is what dance moves will accompany the new track.

Scooter Braun said in an interview last month with MTV that Psy "has another dance coming." He continued, "For him it's about trying to make history with 'Gangnam Style.' Now he's excited to continue and he has another dance up his sleeve."

The manager also added, "Psy's new song choreography is one worth waiting for."

Rumors have also been circulating that there will be a cross-dressing element to the April concert.

Psy has not said one way or the other if there will be a female impersonation component to the upcoming show, but if history is any indication, fans can probably expect it.

Those familiar with Psy's live performances know that impersonating female singers on stage is old hat for the rapper. He previously cross-dressed and performed to Beyonce's "Single Ladies," Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" and last August he shocked fans when he appeared on stage in a tight, red leather dress for his rendition of "Alone" by Sistar.

While cross-dressing may have been a fun way to entertain the crowd at previous performances, Psy did state in an interview on the South Korean talk show Healing Camp that he feels he has outgrown such behavior.

"Since being married, I don't feel comfortable wearing those racy clothes. I kind of feel like a local clown," he said. "Do I still need to cross-dress to make my fans happy?"

We shall have to wait and see what is in store for the April concert in Seoul, but it is sure to be quirky and fun, with or without gender-bending outfits.
