Girls' Generation To Make Cameo Appearance On NBC's Remake Of 'Grandpas Over Flowers'

Girls' Generation will appear on an American reality show based off of a South Korean variety show.

The K-pop girl group will appear on NBC's "Better Late Than Never," a reality series surrounding five older men's travels throughout the world. "Better Late Than Never" will feature Girls' Generation when the show's travels take the cast to Seoul.

Members of Girls' Generation will film this weekend at SMTOWNCoex Artium with the "Better Late Than Never" cast.

William Shatner, known for his role as Captain Kirk in "Star Trek,"  Henry Winkler of "Happy Days" fame, boxer George Foreman, athlete Terry Bradshaw, and comedian Jeff Dye are attached to the show. The five will explore new cultures throughout the series. 

With the appearance on NBC, Girls' Generation will have appeared on all three of the major TV networks in the United States - NBC, CBS, and ABC. The Girls' appeared on CBS's "Late Night With David Letterman Show" and ABC's "Live! With Kelly" in 2012.

"Better Late Than Never" is based off of the popular Korean television show, "Grandpas Over Flowers." NBC acquired the rights to remake the show last September.

Girls' Generation is one of South Korea's most popular pop groups. The idol group released the album "Lion Heart" earlier this week, along with music videos for the dual-singles, "Lion Heart" and "You Think."
