Newly married couple Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder were noticeably absent during the 2015 Teen Choice Awards. Rumors have it that the "Twilight" actress feared her husband would kiss Nina Dobrev for the Liplock Award.

In a report by Celebrity Dirty Laundry , Nikki Reed banned her husband and "The Vampire Diaries" actor Ian Somerhalder from attending the yearly award as she knows he might get the Liplock Award with co-star and ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev.

Nina Dobrev was about to get her award for Choice TV Actress in Sci-Fi/Fantasy for her role as Elena Gilbert for the hit teenage series "The Vampire Diaries" when the announcer also said that she won the Liplock award together with Ian Somerhalder.

The usual highlight of the Teen Choice Awards is when the couple, who receives the Liplock award, kisses on stage but this did not happen this year as Ian Somerhalder was nowhere in the audience.

Nina Dobrev went on to say her speech but did not mention the award she received with her ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder.

She just said that leaving "The Vampire Diaries" has been a big leap for her career, but also said that change is inevitable and she has to move on.

"Remember, change is coming, so hold and enjoy the ride, all right? It's going to be fun," the "Perks of Being a Wallflower" actress said.

Reports previously said that Nina Dobrev left the hit drama show because she can't stand being with her ex-boyfriend and seeing him having PDA with Nikki Reed on set.

According to a report from Movie Pilot, Nikki Reed is jealous of Nina Dobrev even if she is now married to Ian Somerhalder.
