The lead cast for the upcoming movie, "Doctor Strange," has finally spoken up about the film. Appearing in this year's D23 Expo, Benedict Cumberbatch teased some information about the upcoming Marvel release.

In an article published by Screen Rant, the "Sherlock" star has released a statement about the film.

"I'm very excited to be taking on Doctor Strange for Marvel," he said. "He's an extraordinary character and brings in a whole other dimension... hmmm... MULTIPLE dimensions to the Marvel universe."

Since then, the audience have been speculating on the film's plot, as Cumbercatch stressed the word "multiple" dimensions. Fans are saying that perhaps the Quatum Realm, which was initially seen in "Ant-Man," will be playing an important role in the upcoming film.

To add to cast member Benedict Cumberbatch's statement, "Doctor Strange" movie director Kevin Feige has also released a statement about the film and how it is set to make an impact on the whole story of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"The goal of these films is always to continue to expand what a comic book film is, what a Marvel Cinematic Universe film is," the director said. "And starting a couple years ago with Guardians of the Galaxy, this year with Ant-Man, next year with Doctor Strange, continuing to push the boundaries of that cinematic universe."

Since he released his statement, the rumor about the role of Quantum Realm appearing in the movie has been confirmed and apparently, he himself has also confirmed this in a previous report.

As to the other cast members of the film, they have yet to be announced, therefore, no interviews are set yet. Regardless, fans are still excited about the film and any updates that fall under it.
