Just days after they were reported to be having a feud, Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne put an end to all the speculations by performing the rocker's hit song "Complicated" during Calvin Harris' girlfriend's 1989 tour at Petco Park in San Diego over the weekend.

Apparently, the feud started when Taylor Swift liked a post on Tumbler about a collage of photos comparing the reactions of Avril Lavigne, Kanye West, Britney Spears to their fans and how Taylor Swift interacts with her fans. The post was shared by fan site United for Avril .

On Aug. 24, Avril Lavigne reacted to the post as she tweeted, "Comparison is judging and judging a person does not define who they are it defines who you are. We all Love our fans."

Avril Lavigne's fans also reacted to the alleged feud by dissing Taylor Swift on social media.

But there certainly was no "bad blood" between Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne as the two singers heaped praised on each other on their respective social media accounts.

On her Instagram, Avril Lavigne shared a photo of the giant screen where she and Taylor Swift hugged on stage after performing "Complicated." The rocker wrote, "She is a Doll ... Thank you Taylor for having me up on stage and thank you San Diego. #Complicated #Grateful."

A fan commented on her post, "That was so much fun!!! I screamed so loud when we all found out it was you!!! Yyaaasssssss!!!!"

Another wrote, "That was so fun last night. I literally screamed and cried when she welcomed you out. I love you Avrillll."

And Taylor Swift returned the favor, and ending their feud instantly, by also praising Avril Lavigne on Twitter as she wrote, "So incredible sharing the stage with @AvrilLavigne! 'Complicated' is such a brilliant pop song and I just love her."

Her followers, however, didn't let her off that easy.

A fan commented, "Didn't you like a shady pic? Dam u are fake asf."

Another said, "You're so two faced."

And one fan told Taylor Swift, "Stop buying friends."
