The feud between Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj could be considered as one of the biggest controversies that happened during the recently-concluded MTV Video Music Awards 2015.

The two singers could be noted for their strong persona, however, for the 22-year-old "Hannah Montana" star, the 33-year-old "Anaconda"star's "bark is stronger than her bite," according to a report by Hollywood Life.

"Miley's basically grown up in this industry and has been fighting bigger and more powerful people and bullies like Nicki for a long time. Nicki's light weight," an insider told the site.

With the ongoing spat between Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj, it seems that the latter has found an ally in Taylor Swift.

"Taylor doesn't want to pick sides, but she does support Nicki 100 percent," an unnamed sourced told Hollywood Life. "She doesn't think Nicki was bullying Miley."

The insider continued by saying, "The whole incident in Taylor's opinion has been blown out of proportion. She thinks Nicki has a big heart and is often misunderstood."

When it comes to the "Wrecking Ball" artist, the 25-year-old "Bad Blood" singer reportedly had this in mind, "As far as Miley is concerned, Taylor thinks she's a tough cookie and can fend for herself."

Meanwhile, apart from the Miley Cyrus-Nicki Minaj feud, the rumored axing of the VMA was something that is being talked about as well, reported the Billboard.

In an interview, MTV executive Van Toffler revealed that he is already leaving the network after 28 years, while he insisted that the rumors are untrue.

"There is absolutely no truth to that," he emphasized. "It is the last time I will produce the VMAs, but no truth to it being the last one."

The executive also dished that he was surprised when he heard Kanye West delivering such kind of lengthy speech.

"I'm not sure the speech was ready! He didn't rehearse," he said. "I saw him on the red carpet beforehand, but he didn't tell me what direction he was going to go in. We've learned to expect the unexpected."

"We were all surprised. Even Taylor Swift," he added.
