'The Vampire Diaries' Season 7 Casting News: Nina Dobrev still has power over her Vampire Diaries costar Ian Somerhalder and his wife, "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed, wants to erase her from his mind, four months after their secret wedding in Topanga Canyon in California.

There are rumors that Ian Somerhalder quitting 'The Vampire Diaries' not that his ex-girlfriend, Nina Dobrev left the show. Gossip zines are speculating that Somerhalder's wife, The 27-year-old actress Nikki Reed, wants Somerhalder to leave TVD star to the non-stop Dobrev association. Will the Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, and Nikki Reed love triangle ever end?

Somerhalder took to Instagran to post hints that he is thinking of leaving his role as Damon Salvatore on The Vampire Diaries. Somerhalder posted a screenshot showing "The Vampire Diaries" season 1 beat popular shows like "Grey's Anatomy."

"The good old days... Look what was #1!!!!!," Somerhalder captioned the Instagram photo which was titled  "Damon Salvatore Season 1 hair/makeup/wardrobe test trailer self(ie) NoFilter."

"Looking into the future...Love, Ian," he followed it up with on Instagram.

There are also rumors Nina Dobrev could return to "The Vampire Diaries" in season 7 or 8. Nikki Reed is reportedly forcing Ian Somerhalder to quit "The Vampire Diaries," after learning that Nina Dobrev might return to the series.

International Business Times reported that the "Twilight" actress fears that Ian Somerhalder and ex girlfriend Nina Dobrev might rekindle their romance.

Rumors are spreading that Ian Somerhalder unfollowed Nina Dobrev on Twitter because Nikki Reed is allegedly "insecure" about Elena Gilbert.

Nina Dobrev teased The Vampire Diaries at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards in a speech where she promised "Remember, change is coming, so hold and enjoy the ride, all right? It's going to be fun."

The 2015 Teen Choice Awards honored Ian and Nina with a best kiss award.

"The Vampire Diaries" actor Ian Somerhalder married "Twilight" alum Nikki Reed last April. Nikki Reed wore a Claire Pettibone gown. Ian, 36, wore white suit by Nedo Bellucci. Guests included Somerhalder's "TVD" co-stars Kat Graham, Paul Wesley, Matt Davis, and Phoebe Tonkin.

"We didn't want our loved ones to show up with any expectations or squeezed into formal attire," Reed told the BRIDES.
