Ghollywood star Kyeiwaa got married and divorced within a week. Ghanaian actress Rose Mensah, who is better known by her stage name Kyeiwaa, divorced her husband Daniel Osei, less than four days after the wedding. They were married last weekend in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital.

Osei is a spare parts dealer based in Kumasi.

According to the local City News, twenty-four hours after the wedding, it came out that Osei was a married man with kids. The revelations came after his first wife reportedly said her husband claimed that his marriage to Kyeiwaa was just a movie and nothing serious.

Further allegation came out that Osei even rented the crowd for the marriage ceremony.

Rose Mensah confirmed to Kasapa FM that she is done with Osei. According to reports Kyeiwaa's husband attempted to cheat on two women.

Rose Mensah is looking to dissolve the marriage on the grounds of deception and lies.

According to reports, several Kumawood actors accompanied Kyeiwaa to Osei's residence to seek for divorce.

Nana Appiah Kubi father of Kyeiwaa confirmed the story in an interview with Kwame Adjetia on Neat FM "Entertainment Ghana."

"Yes! It is true Kyeiwaa is my daughter," Kubu said.

"On Sunday I went with my family as the head with my nephews, my brothers and sisters and the entire family to attend my daughter's engagement ceremony. My daughter introduced Daniel to me that he has asked for her hand in my marriage so my family and the man's family met for the traditional marriage ceremony. It is a real marriage. It is not a movie."

Kubu does not believe his daughter was disgraced, as the press has been portraying the incident.

"How does this disgrace Kyeiwaa or her family? How could Kyeiwaa know that the man is someone's husband and still go ahead to marry him?" he asked.

"Maybe the man hid something from her. So if someone says this is a disgrace to Kyeiwaa I don't understand. If the man was truthful to my daughter and she still went ahead to marry him, then you can say it is a disgrace. It is the man who didn't tell my daughter the truth so if there is any disgrace at all, it is the man who has been disgraced not my daughter".

Nana said Kyeiwaa introduced Daniel to him about a month ago.

"As tradition demands Kyeiwaa came to my house about a month ago to first introduce Daniel to me in the company of a pregnant woman and another gentleman before the engagement was scheduled for Sunday August 30, 2015 and they were even planning a white wedding on a later date after the engagement," he said.
