Floyd Mayweather Jr. And Andre Berto Blames Manny Pacquiao For Their Fight's Poor Reception

A week from now, Floyd Mayweather Jr. will be fulfilling the last fight in his contract and he will be up against Andre Beto on September 12.

Although boxing fans are not quite pleased with the undefeated boxer's decision, both Mayweather and Berto are excited for the upcoming fight and they even think that it will be way better than the "Fight of the Century" between Manny Pacquiao and Mayweather.

In fact, Berto threw some barbs on the performance Pacquiao put up and the negativity it left to fans carried over to their match. Fans are not interested with Berto who was 3-3 in his last six fights but little did they know, Pacquiao had the same record in his last six fights.

"I just feel like that Mayweather-Pacquiao fight left a bad tastes in a lot of peoples' mouths and it transcended over to this side. Like I said, they've never seen a boring Andre Berto fight," Berto said via Opening Round.

There is definitely going to be something for them to tune into . At the end of the day he is 38-years old and he's going to have a young, powerful bull on his ass," Berto added.

Moreover, Floyd Mayweather said that Andre Berto is in fact a better fighter than Pacquiao.

"I think everybody is overlooking Berto, and I think the betting odds should be a lot closer," Mayweather said via Opening Round, The last fight [against Manny Pacquiao] was more like a chess match. This is more like checkers - real quick and fast. I've been boxing a lot in the gym. I have 10 different sparring partners."
