'Seraph Of The End' Season 2 Release Date Confirmed For Fall 2015 Anime Lineup

The vampire and human war may have been on hiatus for a summer, but now the war will continue.

The titan war however is still a long ways away I guess.

Today the official website for the "Seraph of the End" anime series announced the official release date for season two. Alongside the release date, a brand new key visual featuring the main season two cast (pictured above). "Seraph of the End" season two is set to premiere on Oct. 11. Funimation will once again stream the series for fans outside of Japan.

So far, fans in an ANN forum appear to be very excited for the new season of "Seraph of the End."

"I didn't know season one ended when it did. I'm so looking forward to the next episode," said AnimeAddict2014.

The "Seraph of the End" anime series is directed by Daisuke Tokudo with series composition by Hiroshi Seko. Character designs are by Satoshi Kadowaki. Music is composed by Hiroyuki Sawano. Finally, Wit Studio is handling the animation production.

"Seraph of the End," which is based on the manga by Takaya Kagami, Daisuke Furuya, and Yamato Yamamoto, is described on My Anime List as follows:

"One day, a mysterious virus appeared on Earth which killed every infected human over the age of 13. At the same time, vampires emerged from the world's dark recesses and enslaved mankind."

It goes on:

"Enter Hyakuya Yuuichirou, a young boy, who along with the rest of the children from his orphanage, are treated as livestock by the vampires. Even in captivity, Yuuichirou dreams big. He dreams of killing vampires. He dreams of killing them all."
