Reid Flair, Son Of WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair Found Dead

Reid Flair was found dead Friday morning in his Charlotte North Carolina hotel room. The 25-year-old wrestler was the son of WWE Hall Of Famer member and wrestling Icon, Ric Flair.

Reid Flair has been building a wrestling career since his debut in 2008. Reid Flair had been wrestling for All Japan Pro-Wrestling. He was scheduled to go on a wrestling tour with his father.

Ric Flair recently rejoined with the WWE wrestling company that would have opened a lot of doors for his son.

Reid Flair was found dead in his hotel room. An unidentified man made the 911-call saying there was an unresponsive man unconscious on the floor of the hotel room. The body was later identified as Reid Flair.

Ric Flair's agent, Melinda Zanoni released a statement confirming the death of the Nature Boy's son, Reid Flair.

"We are heartbroken to confirm that Ric's son, Reid Fliehr, has passed away today March 29, 2013 in Charlotte, NC. The investigation into the cause of death is ongoing. Reid was 25 and an incredible son, brother, friend, and professional wrestler. No words can describe the grief that Ric and his family are experiencing and they do request privacy during this devastating time."

Ric Flair went on Twitter to thank his many loyal fans for their "well wishes and concerns."

The death of Reid Flair is still under investigation. The police do not suspect foul play. However they will be looking to see if drugs played a role in the wrestler's death. Reid Flair has had issues with heroine use in the past. He was arrested for heroin possession in 2009 after crashing his car.

In 2005 another WWE superstar was found dead in his hotel room. Eddie Guerrero was found dead in his hotel room under similar circumstances. There was no sign of foul play and later reports revealed Guerrero died of heart failure due to complications from past drug use.

Ric Flair and other members of the wrestling community have loyal fans. Flair's fans went on Twitter and Facebook to show their support to Ric Flair and his family.

Dawn Ferguson writes, "Privacy respected, prayers given."

Fan Brandon Barber posted, "Deepest sympathies, giving you strength for you and your family to get through this tough time. We love you Ric."

Other Celebrities and wrestlers posted on Ric Flairs Twitter expressing their condolences.

Perez Hilton tweets, "Sending love and condolences."

"My heart is with Ric Flair today! Reid was my son too," writes WWE legend Roddy Piper.

Former WWE superstar Kurt Angle posted, "To Ric Flair and his family, I'm so sorry for the loss of Reid, Ric's son. You were family to me. God bless you Ric! I love you!"
