The “Star Wars: Uprising” mobile game is an RPG “Star Wars” fans will be able to enjoy on the go and will be made available for Android and iOS devices.

This is the first role-playing game available on mobile that takes place within the original trilogy of the “Star Wars” films. It was developed by Kabam along with Disney Interactive and Lucasfilm, as reported by Gamezone.

The mobile game “Star Wars: Uprising” is set in the timeline between the events of “The Return Of the Jedi” and “The Force Awakens.” Thus, according to Guardian, this is an official addition to the “Star Wars” cannon that will give players the opportunity to discover more about the events that lead up to the latest movie installment.

With the Emperor gone, a newly formed empire has started but an empire without a leader will make anyone who is powerful enough ambitious for the empty seat.

Like any RPG games, players are given the freedom to choose a unique hero of their own. The character creation feature lets players choose their alien race, sex, facial features, clothing and so on. Further customization follows with the attainment of various items and weapons, as well as being able to level-up a character.

Space exploration is available as well where familiar planets, as mentioned and shown in the films, will be included in the game.

Some of the other games releases by Kabam include familiar successful commercial franchise titles such as “The Hobbit: Kingdoms,” “Lord Of The Rings: Legends,” “Fast and Furious: Legacy” and “The Hunger Games: Panem Rising.”
