“Afro Samurai 2: Revenge Of Kuma,” the sequel to Afro Samurai by Redacted Studios, will be released on Sept. 22, 2015 on PS4 and PC.

While news of “Afro Samurai 2: Revenge Of Kuma” gives something to look forward to, it is only the first volume of 3 that is to be released. The other two volumes will be released later on. However, this isn’t the only reason the game is getting attention.

According to Playstation Blog, only Playstation gamers will be able to avail of a special discounted Trilogy bundle. Those who purchase this special trilogy will be getting their own copy plus they won’t have to wait for the other volumes.

Gamezone reported that an Xbox release date will be coming at much later date, but there will be PS4 and PC exclusive bundles available at the launch. The PC bundle will cost $34.99 while the PS4 users will get a 20-percent discount. Volumes that are purchased individually turn out more expensive at $14.99 each.

The original story follows a samurai with an afro who saw his father’s brutal murder as a young boy because of a headband that is said to give the wearer super powers. As the samurai grows up he is driven by an powerful desire to avenge the death of his father, however, his ambition is what puts all the people he cares about in danger.

“Afro Samurai 2: Revenge Of Kuma” is the sequel that picks up where the first game had left off. Instead of following Afro the game follows a mechanically enhance killing machine with a bear’s head who used to be the afro samurai’s oldest and closes childhood friend Jino.
