'Final Fantasy 5' On Steam In September, Looks Like There Are More Final Fantasy Remakes to Come

Pre-Order “Final Fantasy 5” on Steam, the Square Enix is available to all those who are interested in revisiting the older generation “Final Fantasy” fans.

The Steam version of “Final Fantasy 5” is a PC version of the original Android and iOs version that was released for mobile phones back in 2013. The game will be officially launched on Sep.24 and will cost $16. There is 10-percent discount for those who are pre-ordering the game from the Steam page.

The remake of the game will have graphics and characters by character designer Kazuko Shibuya. Apart from the updated visuals, the game will also have new content, updated controls and optimized battle gameplay and even an optional boss called Enuo, according to PC Gamer.

Most, if not all, of the content are based on the Game Boy Advance version of the game. A job and ability system, as reported by VG24/7, is available where player will be free to customize their players by choosing amongst 26 unique classes to suit their playing style.

There are quite a few “Final Fantasy” games that are being remade and “Final Fantasy 5” isn’t the first nor will it be the last. “Final Fantasy 7” is currently the most awaited remake by fans and gamers everywhere as its popularity has spawned game spin-offs and even the movie “Advent Children.”

IGN reported that Tetsuya Nomura would also like to get into remaking “Final Fantasy 6” for the newer gaming consoles and garner a whole different gaming experience.
