Adam Brody graced the public scene once again as the birth of his first baby with Leighton Meester nears.

As reported by Reveal UK, the former "The O.C." actor attended that premiere of his movie "Sleeping With Other People" last week. According to the report, the actor was at the event alone. There were no details about his former "Gossip Girl" star wife. But it was mentioned that they are expecting their first child later this year.

In a video taken by Got Pap, Brody kept mum and did not get interviewed during his red carpet appearance.

Adam Brody and Leighton Meester have been very private of their lives since they dated and got married in secret. They have yet to even publicly address their upcoming baby.

The former "Gossip Girl" actress has kept mum as well about her pregnancy despite being pictured with a huge belly last July as reported by E! Online.

Recently though, she broke her social media silence and posted a picture of her pet dog captioning it "Madame Furball."

While fans got excited over her social media return, the actress-turned-singer did not respond to questions from fans asking her if she has given birth or how she was doing.

Meester was first spotted with her huge belly back in May as cited in a report on PopSugar. She was then out with lunch with her husband.

Rumors about her pregnancy though has been swirling since March as she was seen with a small baby bump during a concert in Canada as told in a report on OK! Magazine. Although Meester did not speak about being pregnant then, she has admitted in an interview with Nylon last October that kids have been on her mind.

"Most people I know are starting to get married," Leighton Meester said then about her thoughts on settling down and having a baby. "It'll be kids next. I like the grown-up stuff. I like having a house. I've got dogs."
