“Need For Speed” PC game delayed, the next installment to the game franchise will be released sometime next year.

Developer Ghost Games’ announced that “Need For Speed’s” PC version will be delayed to 2016. According to a blog post, the game was originally set for a release on Nov. 3, 2015 in North America and Nov. 5, 2015 in Europe.

While the PC version of the upcoming game installment may be delayed for next year, fans will be glad to know that other gaming platforms are still set for their November release dates.

“Part of the conversation includes hearing from our PC community that an unlocked frame rate in Need for Speed is a massive priority for you, and we fully agree. To deliver this, we’ve made the decision to move the PC release date to Spring 2016,” stated an announcement on the Need For Speed Website.

According to Digital Trends, the frame rate is one of the biggest concerns PC gamers have pointed out.

In order to fully deal with this problem Ghost had decided to delay the “Need For Speed” PC release. It will take extra development time to make sure that the game works seamlessly on PC.

While the wait may be long, the upcoming game will reportedly have more impressive graphics and dedicated servers that will make waiting a few more months worth it. There will also be free content updates to look forward to at the launch along with the base game.

In other news, Engadget reported that the “Need For Speed” would hold a closed beta for Playstation 4 and Xbox One in October. Those who are interested in joining can sign up until Sept. 28 on the Official Website.
