'Five Nights At Freddy's World' Spin-Off Announced, Will The Horrors Be As Intense As The Previous Games?

“Five Nights At Freddy’s World” has just been announced.

Scott Cawthon, creator of the horror indie series, has just revealed that a new addition to the series is currently in development. “Five Nights Af Freddy’s World” isn’t the next installment to the successful indie series but is a spin-off RPG.

Cawthon posted the news on Steam and confirmed that the game is in development for PC, iOS and Android. There is no release date announced as the game is still in the early stages of development, but Gamespot reported that a free demo may reportedly be made available before the game is officially launched.

The “Five Nights At Freddy’s” story is already complete, that is why a spin-off game was decided since Cawthon wanted to put the characters he’s worked so hard on in a new game.

According to his post on Steam, “The new game that I’m working on will be called FNAF World. It will not be a horror game, but a role-playing game where you can create a party using the huge selection of characters from the FNAF games, including the classic, withered, toy, phantom and nightmare versions. I’ve been working steadily on characters and hope to star on my enemy models next week.”

For those unfamiliar with the game, the “Five Nights At Freddy’s” indie horror game is a point and click survival game where players are a night guard at a pizzeria who must survive against the animatronic characters that come to life and become homicidal after store hours.

In other news, a film adaptation of the game series is being developed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
