Sherlock Star Benedict Cumberbatch Marriage To Sophie Hunter Shows Clues Of Trouble; Cumberbatch Almost Turned Down Role or Sherlock Holmes

'Sherlock' Season 4 Release Date: It is being reported that the honeymoon may be over soon for Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife Sophie Hunter. Sophie Hunter and BBC TV's Sherlock Holmes Benedict Cumberbatch are rumored to be heading for a for a divorce.

Cumberbatch and his new wife Sophie Hunter in got married February 2015. Hunger gave birth to their first child, Christopher, three months later.

Star Magazine says Cumberbatch and Hunter won't make it to their one year wedding anniversary.

"They bicker all the time. Instead of his success bringing them joy, it has completely gone to his head," an source told Star Magazine.

"Even when Benedict is home, it is really only in body, not mind. Sophie just wants him to let up a little so that she doesn't feel like a single parent."

Star magazine reported that Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are on the verge of divorce seven months into their marriage.

BBC One TV Show Sherlock's fanbase has been growing and the British actor is reportedly overwhelmed.

CDL reported that Benedict Cumberbatch. The actor nearly turned down the part the role that turned him into an international phenomenon, Sherlock Holmes.

 "I was very wary having done roles which were challenging and terrific and, you know, kept a good career going," Cumberbatch told CNN's Talk Asia. "I was very wary about stepping into the limelight and the populist role like Sherlock Holmes but the minute I saw who was involved and read the script and the quality of it I thought I've got to do this," he said.

The 39 year old British actor admitted he still hasn't got used to being an international sex symbol.

"[It's] just truly strange," Cumberbatch told Talk Asia.

"I've been around a while now before this face which I've woken up with for 38 years now, a little bit longer, and I just go that's the way I look and the first sort of few years of my career nobody sort of battered an eyelid. I didn't cause any stares, wasn't on the front page of any magazines or in polls or in calendars or on coffee mugs or god knows what else."

"This ain't going to last forever and hopefully my acting career will last at least as long as I last," the 'Sherlock' actor said.
