“Age Of Mythology: Tale Of The Dragon” expansion pack has just been announced.

“Age of Mythology” is a game that was released more than a decade ago as a spin off from the “Age of Empire” series. It was commercially successful and is still popular today with its mythology-based real-time strategy gameplay.

Based on the title of the expansion pack, “Age Of Mythology: Tale Of The dragon” is most probably based on Chinese mythology but further details regarding have not been announced and those interested to know more will have to wait for Oct. 2 to find out.

It is on Oct. 2 that fans and gamers will be able to tune in on the livestream on Twitch to get more details on what the expansion pack will contain, as well as all the bells and whistles that come with it.

The newest expansion pack to tickle the fancy of fans of the game is the “Age of Mythology: Tale of the Dragon.” It has been 12 years since the last one was made for the original game, as reported by PC Gamer, and the developers Forgotten Empires and SkyBox Labs are handling the project.

According to Destructoid, the game will be in good hands as the Forgotten Empires and SkyBox Labs have already had a history of developing expansion for older games. They were the brains behind “The Forgotten” expansion for the “Age Of Empires 2” re-release.

In other news, the same developers are also making a new expansion for “Age Of Empires 2 HD” that is entitled “The African Kingdoms.”
