'Final Fantasy Type-0 Online' For Mobile And PC, An Old Favorite Comes Back To Replace "Final Fantasy Agito"

“Final Fantasy Type-0 Online” will be making its way to Windows PC and Mobile.

Square Enix just announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2015 that “Final Fantasy Type-0 Online” will be on PC and iOS, Windows Phone and Android. It will be launched in Japan in 2016 while, according to IGN, America and Europe is still under consideration. There was even a tweet that was posted about the upcoming game.

The upcoming “Final Fantasy” game was made to replace “Final Fantasy Agito.” While the game is currently in development, Kotaku reported that the game is aimed towards the global players. There will also reportedly be a beta test in China in order to see what the global players are looking for in the game.

IGN reported that “Final Fantasy Type-0 Online” is set again in the world of Orience but it will be in a “parallel world” of the original “Final Fantasy Type-0.” While the story of the upcoming game may be different, perhaps just as dark as the 2011 version, the action RPG gameplay will be similar to the original game plus it will feature online multiplayer as well.

The original game, “Final Fantasy Type-0” is an action role-playing game that was made by Square Enix for Playstation Portable. It is part of the “Fabula Nova Crystallis” subseries. The story of this focuses on Class Zero, where a group of students from the magical academy Vermillion Peristylium are mobilized for the defense of their home. They suddenly become involved and entangles in the secrets of the war.
